In addition to the PBFAA award prize, the winner will automatically

be entered as a finalist into the ESA National Scholarship

National Awards

First Place: $12,000

The Pennsylvania Burglar & Fire Alarm Association is the state trade association for professional burglar and fire alarm companies. 

We work closely with law enforcement and fire service officials in the course of our business and we strive to enhance this relationship to better serve the public safety and security needs. 

The PBFAA / ESA Youth Scholarship Program is an extension of this outreach, and is designed to recognize the achievement of worthwhile students who are children of active duty law enforcement and fire service personnel. 

The members of the Pennsylvania Burglar & Fire Alarm Association and Electronic Security Association provide the funding for the scholarship.
